Consult the ANTHROPAC Reference Guide and Gery Ryan's step-by-step instructions for details on how to import the motherhood pile sort data. On the output screen, you'll see the following error statements:

ERROR: Respondent Antonio sorted certain items more often than others.
Problem items:  16

ERROR: Respondent Antonio failed to sort 1 items.
Problem items:  16 17

ERROR: Respondent Mung sorted certain items more often than others.
Problem items:  24

ERROR: Respondent Mung failed to sort 1 items.
Problem items:  24 34

These errors are most likely the result of mistakes in data entry. So double-check the raw data set to see if you can spot and correct your mistakes. Send the corrected data set to Lance. And remember to be extra careful in recording the piles when you set out to collect your own data.
